Yummy dinner- chicken breast sandwich
2008

With food prices soaring out of control, I have been doing a lot more shopping at Aldi.
You can get a TON more food than you would at a regular grocery store. Plus they carry a line of products called “Fit and Active” which helps when you are trying to lose weight. The “Fit and Active” line includes things like chips (I love the Blue Tortilla Chips) or nuts, egg beaters, yogurt, pudding, turkey bacon, and frozen fruits. I bought a huge bag of frozen mango chunks yesterday for $2.99! You could barely buy 1 mango for that at the grocery store. Anyway, getting back to my dinner. I noticed in the freezer section that they had a “Fit and Active” chicken patty. I flipped over the box. Only 140 calories and 5 grams of fat per patty! Not bad. I served it on a lite bun from Healthy Life bread and made Ore Ida brand “fast food fries” (I swear they taste like McDonald’s french fries). On the side I cut up an orange and had a handful of cherries. It took me forever to eat and everything was super healthy! I love when that happens.
