Do they count as a vegetable? I thought beans were a legume, which is a starch. I remember my mom didn't eat as many beans when she was doing her NutriSystem. I tried googling, but there isn't a clear list of which are beans (green beans, etc) and what are legumes.

Either way they still sound delicious! I always look for healthy alternatives when I am in a munchy, crunchy mood. My latest vice are plaintain chips from TJs. But those are just plain salted. I like that you could spice these up depending on your craving!

I want these now! I am hitting the dreaded 3 o'clock hunger/snack time and these sound delicious. I will have to make some soon. Thanks for the recipe.

i'm definitely going to have to try these! i was just saying that maybe for next lent, i'm going to try and give up chips. i really don't know if i can do it - having the crunchy aspect at lunch or for snack has yet to be replaced by anything else. snacks like these make me think maybe it wouldn't be so tough! thanks :)
