Healthy Life Bread - only 40 calories per slice with 4 grams of fiber per slice!

Go to www.healthylifebread.com for more recipes

I love this line of stir fry sauces. Each flavor is only 45 calories per tablespoon.

It’s called House of Tsang. You can usually find them in the Asian aisle of your local grocery store. Go to http://www.worldfood.com/asian/tsang.asp to check out all the different flavors. My favorite is called Saigon Sizzle.

I love Natural Ovens Brand bread and bagels. They are high in fiber and are really filling. My favorite bagel is called “Brainy Bagel” and my favorite bread is called “Hunger Filler” http://www.naturalovens.com/

I have two favorite syrups. The first one is Smucker’s Sugar free syrup, and the 2nd is Cary’s sugar free syrup.

There are many different kinds of Thomas’ English Muffins. The ones I always get is the Thomas’ Light English Muffin. It is only 100 calories and has 9 grams of fiber! I usually make my own “McMuffin” using 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese and the English muffin! It is so good. http://thomas.gwbakeries.com/subcat.cfm/subcatId/108

When grilling season comes along, you can still stay on track! I LOVE Aidelle’s brand sausages. 1 link is only 140 calories. My favorites are the Spinach & Feta or the Spicy Cilantro which is very yummy. I will also sometimes chop up a cooked Spinach & Feta and add it to eggs to make a great scramble. http://www.aidells.com/sausages/descriptions/details.cfm

I love eating big breakfasts on the weekend. I like eating Jimmy Deans Turkey Links or Turkey patties. For two patties it is only 70 calories. Or for three links it is only 70 calories. Here is the link to all their great products. https://www.jimmydean.com/sitecontent/fully-cooked/2007/10/10/fully-cooked-sausage-patties-turkey.aspx

Another favorite breakfast food is Jennie-0 55% less fat turkey bacon.

Another product I recently discovered was Fage Greek Yogurt. It has a great consistency. It is not as sweet as regular yogurt you usually get, but you can add honey, or fruit or you could even add it to pancake batter or muffin batter for extra nutrtion. http://www.fageusa.com/products.html

Have you ever hear of Pizzelle cookies? They are a really big flat crunchy delicate wafer kind of cookie. Each wafer is only 23 calories. I use these to make my own icecream sanwiches. I will melt the ice cream a little so its easy to spread, and I’ll make a bunch of them so that I have them ready. You could even put a few sprinkles on the outside to make it more deluxe. I have been able to find these usually near the deli breads. Or sometimes they have been in a stand alone location at the end of the asile at a grocery store. http://www.pizzellecookies.com/

If you have a SuperTarget by you, check out their line of Archer Farms brand sausages. Check the label, but there are a few flavors that are only 70 calories each! www.target.com/supertarget

They also have great recipes on the Target web site.

I will be updating this page as I come across new items, or remember old ones, so check back often!

Hi! Just wanted to say that I think this is a really great idea for a blog. That, and I adore Fage Yogurt and really miss it since I can’t get it while living in Norway.
