Kicked up noodle soup

First of all, when I got into work yesterday, I had this nice big blue canvas bag on my desk, and I immediately knew what it was.

Pirates booty!

Pirates Booty!!!

Pirates booty loot!

It was filled with big and small bags of Pirates booty! The boyfriend of a co-worker of mine does marketing for that company. He brought samples a few weeks ago, and I told her how much my family loves Pirates Booty and she said she would hook me up and she sure did!

It was such a nice surprise!

Yesterday, I was talking about food finds, and I wanted to share an idea of how to bulk things up with the above noodle soup for one.

I took the noodle bowl soup, added 1 carrot, 1 parsnip, 1 tablespoon of edamame, 2 oz. of cooked chicken and 1 cup of green beans, and 1 tablespoon of stir fry sauce. It was EXCELLENT!

And this HUGE bowl was great in calories and nutrition too!

That is a nice surprise! My old job had a client that worked for Emerald nuts so every few months the guy would come in w/ big canisters of almonds and pecans and we’d fight over them!! hehe He carried cases around in the trunk of his car and pass them out like Santa Claus!

What a great idea to add some veggies to the noodle soup – I will have to remember to do that!

Now that’s a lot of Booty! I have never tried it…based on how much everyone loves it, I probably shouldn’t.
