Hope for Haiti
Did anyone watch the show last night with George Clooney raising money for Haiti?
I had to get a tissue, it’s so sad to see so many people without a place to live. And the thousands of kids who don’t even know if their parents are alive…
If you didn’t get a chance to see it, here is a synopsis of what it was:
Bill Clinton, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Robert Pattinson, Madonna, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Muhammad Ali are also among the luminaries that will be on hand.
In addition, Bruce Springsteen, Bono and Edge of U2, Shakira, Jay-Z, and Rihanna headline the musical performances. Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Sting, and Coldplay are also set to perform. Performances from the telethon will be available for purchase and download via iTunes.
“Hope For Haiti Now” will benefit Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF, United Nations World Food Programme, Yele Haiti Foundation, and the newly formed Clinton Bush Haiti Foundation.
Proceeds from “Hope For Haiti Now” will be split among each organization’s individual funds for Haiti earthquake relief. With the exception of the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, each partner organization was selected for its history or operation and collaboration within the NGO community in Haiti.
I know there are a lot of people who have hardship right now, but even if everyone donated $10.00 it would go far.

There were also AWESOME performances that are now available on I-tunes. Money from that will also be donated to the people of Haiti. My favorite performance was from Jennifer Hudson. She looked amazing and her version of the Beatles “Let it Be” was incredible.

The outpouring has been amazing hasn’t it?
unto the least… Let’s just hope the historically corrupt Gov’t allows the funds to get to the most in need
