Homemade English Muffins

This recipe comes from this site, The Culinary Institute of America. This is the 2nd time I’ve made these and they don’t disappoint, who knew you could make your own English Muffins?

Except for the time it takes to rise, this is actually quite an easy process! The one thing I didn’t know was that you don’t bake them, you actually cook them on a griddle or you could probably use a skillet lightly brushed with olive oil or butter.

Each english muffin is only 110 calories, 2.5 grams of fat and 1 gram of fiber.

Letting them cool

You can store these in the fridge, or even freeze them. Just thaw it in the microwave and pop it in the toaster and it’s like you just made them.

Or you can make your own totally deluxe McMuffin sammy out of one too!
