Banana Cream Pie Smoothie

OK, who doesn’t love boston cream pie? When I saw this recipe at www.myrecipes.com I knew it would be a great way to have a lo-cal dessert after dinner.

This recipe makes 2 servings:

1 large banana (frozen)*
1 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
2 TB. graham cracker crumbs (about 1/2 a cookie sheet)
1 TB. nonfat dry milk**
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 ice cubes

Place frozen banana and all the ingredients except the graham cracker crumbs into a blender. Process until smooth. Sprinkle each with 1 TB. of the graham cracker crumbs.

*Peel the bananas before freezing.
**If you don’t have non-fat dry milk, it still tastes great!
